Abstract

In this paper the development of HIV infection and its different stages are described first by medical stages. By making use of the differential equations, model for various stages and the growth of HIV infection has been constructed and its implicit solution is obtained. The results are interpreted in terms of the parameters and their relationships are established. The control conditions are derived analytically and treatment options are suggested that need to be adopted, when the expected maximum tolerable HIV infection proportion pt (I) is less than the level off value L of the infection proportion in the patient. Finally the data base development and management is discussed, so that better health care facilities can be provided to HIV patients.
