Sooty blotch is a fungal infection affecting plants and common in the wet season. This plant disease is caused by fungus, Peltaster fructicola, Geastrumia polystigmatis, and Leptodontium elatius. Ensuring proper air movement, sunlight, proper drainage, and avoiding severe wet conditions can control the disease. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Sooty blotch”. All published articles related to “Sooty blotch” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding Sooty blotch and also to find out the trends related to the same.
